From 2001 to 2002 – OJSC LOMO, Deputy Director for Corporate Property Management.
From 2002 to 2004 – OJSC Russian Fuel Company, General Director.
From July 2004 to November 2004 – Deputy Head, Federal Road Agency.
From November 2004 to March 2009 – Head, Federal Road Agency.
From March 2009 – Appointed Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation.
From August 2011 – Awarded the civil service rank of Active State Councilor of the Russian Federation, 1st Class.
In 2015 by order No. 844-p of the Government of the Russian Federation dd. 11 May, 2015 was appointed First Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation.
In 2015 – by order No. 1606-p of the Government of the Russian Federation dd. 20 August, 2015 was appointed president of Russian Railways.
